Pros

The special 20 harp has a thinner vertical profile than the hohner blues harp or the lee oscar. It goes deeper into my mouth for better bending ability and tone. Notes seem clearer and have a more robust tone.

The special 20 is chrome the way a good harmonica should be. This harmonica has a great ergonomic design. The tough notes like the 2 draw are still difficult for beginners, but less difficult than with other harmonicas.

Cons

Compared to my hohner marine band models, this model is disappointing. It sound rinky * and cheap compared to the marine band model. Two of the upper register notes are slightly flat, so some of the chords in the lower register are harsh and dissonant... Read More

They've been in the business for a long time and make great harmonicas at a reasonable price.
