Pros

As always any hohner that's made in germany is exceptional. Good for beginners and pros. Great for a beginner. But it's such a fine instrument i'm surprised it doesn't cost more.

Cons

Golden melody by hohner harmonica is not recommended for beginners. The protruding rails ruin the experience for me. I'm a beginner so this problem probably doesn't exist for better players.

Quality

Nice sound, easy to play, great feel on my mouth, easy cupping and bending.

She has tremendous talent, and loves the quality sound she can produce in a very short time.

The execrable hohner blues band harmonicas are the absolute worst, but those are chinese cheapos.

I'm down on them because they're crap, and, at least in my poor hands, unrepairable.

And they really cost too much for such poor quality to be tolerable.

The only one that comes close to this one is a harmonica i paid over 100 bucks for it.

Don't let the cost deter you it is an excellent choice.

Packaging/appearance

If i only knew they sold ones on amazon that also came with a case.

I ordered the golden melody, this is a 3 pack i kept it and gave the others to the grands.

Competitiveness

The standard case is very cheap in comparison to other brands and my overall impression of the harmonica is just ok.

But you can't go wrong with the other two brands and i'll definitely venture out and try others.
