Some i was able to look at and some i had to go by reviewsi wanted a good product not one that was good for the money and did not want to build my own

The portability factor was not a consideration for me in this choice but flaw one is there is no way i would risk transporting this in a van with my rifles in it

No claim was made that you could but and i know of no non military rack that you could but keep this in mind

I felt the pivot was a bit snug from the factory and used a wrench to loosen it a bit then snugged it down again

I did not use a torque wrench but figure the final torque is 80 to 90 of what it was based on my arthritic hands and is maybe between 10 and 15 ft pounds of torque now
