The bag holder works well and catches 98% of the mess. The unit comes with plastic clips for securing the bag. Use a medium size metal binder clip to hold the bag in place.

Used it to knock down the high spots on plastered mopped or stomped type plaster ceiling. It's important to use this as a scraper not a chisel. Removes popcorn easily and cleanly with little need to sand afterwards.

Used this scraper for the first time today. Here are my pros and cons. It does what it is meant to do. Very impressed with the results.

It's difficult to hold and bag is cumbersome. The clips are flimsy plastic things, you have to use heavy binder clips. With a bag attached, maybe it collects half (a generous estimate) of the ceiling texture.
