Im not sure how true the square actually is when i had all the 2x4s screwed in the hinges were at funky angles i had to unscrew and tweak the boards to make them line up better which meant quite a bit of the hinge side bracket hanging over the 2x4

I built the gate and while its solid it doesnt seem to be quite square

This may have been due to the wood changing in the sun but i might add a cable just to make sure this gate doesnt move at all

Furthermore the screws though finished black are most definitely not stainless steel which means they dont hold up to weather well and react badly with cedar imagine rust streaks pouring out of screw holes
