Seat is too short for an adult to set on at all for more than 1 second. The back leans backwards so that you are looking up at the ceiling.

I wouldnt want to sit on it for more than 30 minutes tops but as stools go its about as comfortable as you could get

Possible exception is if you are a bit wider at the rear end the edges of the bottom pad are formed with a steel frame inside the padding so if your bits extend over top of these edges then it will hurt your butt pretty quickly
