The the spring on the foot rest is pretty heavy and it can be difficult to put the foot rest down if youre not sitting up straight so if you have any problems with your legs this chair probably wont work for you

The rocker and swivel are very smooth does not rock while recliner

It does make a loud noise when pushing the recliner down from reclining and it can be somewhat difficult to do but i overlook this
