Pros

The directions aren't the greatest, but they will help a bit. Here are some put the desk together in three sections, never laying it on its side. Be gentle when * in the metal poles.

The desk is very sturdy with thicker pieces than i anticipated. Top shelves have a little wiggle, so either attach to wall or don’t put breakable on top shelf. The other kid likes the bookshelf against the wall.

It's aesthetically pleasing, fits nicely in our space, and it's sturdy. Black gloss finish. Shipped fast and looks amazing in my room. Going to look so great after my wife decorates it.

Cons

This is a high gloss painted piece and some of the paint was flaking off in places. It looks sanded in some spots. The smell is terrible. The room its in constantly smells like the paint or finishing spray used.

Main problem is the doweling hole/dowels that are supposed to keep the long shelving pieces connected. The hardware is junk, 2 of the screw in fasteners broke and the other 4 don't hold the shelves down. The only thing actually keeping the shelving to... Read More

Overall i am very happy with the product and excellent customer service.

Screws need to be of better quality but still work fine.

However, the quality is so bad that i'm worried the shelves will topple over.

Luckily i'm one creative cat or these guys would be swimming with the fishes.

And, for the price i don't think you can do much better.
