Really nice quality minus one star because it was pretty challenging to assemble really hard to get holes to align with the opposing holed on attachable peices

I wouldnt call the top a butcher block per se it feels more like its cheap wood coated in a very thick finish

One final thought is that the top shelf slots look like they are screaming for decorative baskets to store items in a sort of drawer like situation

Dont buy this thinking you can find baskets that will fit in these slots it is a futile effort
