The base easily unscrews from the rest for easy cleaning. It works perfectly for holding bottles in my bathroom. My only disappointment is that i didn't order more than one.

There are products that accomplish the same thing by way of a kit with differently sized replacement screw caps that coordinate with a stand to hold the bottle
