Pros

Meross smart bulb b22 are first class in every way but here is a word of caution. Great with homekit and is very smooth to operate.

These bulbs seamlessly work with both homekit and alexa. I have representation of most of the recognised brands serving my homekit setup. The connectivity and reliability coupled with the price is in my opinion market leading.

Meross bulbs are very responsive and work every command. If using homekit then just scan the code into the home app and set up is done. I have a mesh system installed and this was the case.

Lights are bright and can be lots of colours, usefully hard to soft white or colours. I just setup every bulb to that fixture and then took it out and just put it into the next light socket and it worked.

Cons

Meross mls120d drops wifi connection and becomes unreachable every few minutes. The light flickers so much and randomly goes on and off. If you switch on in home app it starts at the minimum brightness every time until switching off and on at the wall... Read More

Price

This is a good bulb for a reasonable price.

Packaging/appearance

I have a warm white set in the meross app, but shows as bright red in the home app for example.

Set up with homekit was very quick, only took a couple minutes.

Competitiveness

Overall i would recommend especially for the price, half the cost of my usual bulb of choice (nanoleaf).

This is just so easy to install to run with apple homekit.

Setup was only seconds once i'd created a meross account online.

The same was the case for non homekit devices as well, so pretty much returned them all.
