I am very happy with this unit.
I found out this is normal for this dehumidifier and there was nothing wrong with the dehumidifier.
I plan to replace it with the same brand but a larger capacity model.
Price
The price is affordable as you will pay a lot more for one attached to your forced air a/c unit.
Arrived a day early, good price, works as described.
Shipping
The dehumidifier is nice and the works very well but the cabinet has some damage from shipping.
Packaging/appearance
Additionally, the inside packaging was missing some of its foam which was weird bcz it wasn't in the box.
This dehumidifier worked well right out of the box.
Competitiveness
I have it set for continuous drain and works like a champ.
Operates so quietly compared to our other models.

We use the water that has been extracted on the plants in our garden the water is not potable which is mentioned in the directions

I would not use the manual dump method on a soft surface such as carpet

I called in with one question after we received it when it would stop occasionally for about 30 seconds then start again so i wanted to make sure it was working properly
