Pros

There are some minor wall leaks that have always kept the floor wet/damp. Running nonstop for 2 ground floor rooms on cement slab. Recently started encapsulating crawl space and needed a dehumidifier.

I just wish the bucket was a bit larger. Removal of basin when the water needs emptied.

The outlet servicing the sump pump is the logical place to plug in the dehumidifier. Something to keep in mind when considering this, or any similar unit, for use near a sump pump.

Cons

be careful when purchasing this item. The vendor(home) now refuses to do anything to help me using the excuse that the first dehumidifier is out of warranty. The metal ridges behind the filter are almost impossible to clean.

This dehumidifier is loud! It shuts on and off excessively which calls attention to the loudness. This has a turbo setting which is quiet and still doesn't work very well.

Fan and compressor both run, but no cooling in the entrance (evaporator) coils and no heat in the exit (condenser) coils. This is where it fails as it cannot keep up once full.

The device fills after two days of continuous use at the normal power setting…very pleased with this product.

Super easy setup, running just a week and hasn’t been very humid, but it’s worked enough to inspire confidence.

About 2 months in the pump hose started leaking (i put a cup under the hose exit on the back).

Not a single issue and i drain it to my furnace condensate pump.

Price

It’s worth the extra $40 for 3 years instead of 1.

Also wish there is 1500 square foot option without wifi and be less expensive.

I would say it is well worth the money

I purchased this unit to replace another one from a different brand that failed after many years of use.

If i need another one i'll definitely be looking at the same brand.
