The 3,000 sq. Unit has a 1/3 hp motor which equates to about 5 amps. Something to keep in mind when considering this, or any similar unit, for use near a sump pump.

be careful when purchasing this item. Customer service is horrific. It’s past the return window so basically it was an expensive two month rental of a small dehumidifier.
Mmm, no. The phone number listed on their website is useless.
Making it run indefinitely is as dumb as it sounds. The pic is 3 months worth of dust when, after washing the filter, i didn't bother to inspect the metal ridges behind it. Does not remove moisture at all.
This is bull *. First off it is very loud compared to 3 others. The back plastic panel vibrates against the rest of the unit, making a fairly loud, and very grating rattling noise.
