When i’m out of town i put it in the bathtub with a short hoes 2 feet long i bought separately and put it in continuous mode it bypasses the collection bucket and drains down the tub

It is definitely worth it to purchase a drain hose with it so you dont have to empty it constantly the tank that collects water is small maybe only holds about a quart of water

I did not purchase the extra warranty because i have rarely ever had to use it on any item ive owned
