Pros
These beautifully crafted plates are the prettiest i've ever seen. The plates have a matte finish (nice) and match well with our tiki glasses.
The seller includes an info sheet on care. The directions for caring for them are a bit odd.
They are absolutely beautiful, but being made out of wood and pieces that were glued together and then milled, you have to treat them properly. My own use is that i wish to engrave them.
They are well made. They work well for fruit or * trays. They look great when accompanied by the acacia wood salad mixing bowl.
Cons
The plates i received are seconds. Only 1 of 4 suitable for serving food.

I definitely only use these for “dry” foods like sandwiches or cookies and i make sure to use a quality wood oil to protect them.

Wood plates should not go in the dishwasher and do require hand washing warm water and mild soap

I typically will put them under water or use a wet washcloth with just a tiny bit of soap

After a few uses after i am done washing them i will put some wood block oil on a paper towel and just run it around the plate and then use another paper towel to take off the excess which keeps the wood from drying out which is visibly seen as a lightening of the wood

Don’t leave excess oil on or it can stain unevenly

It says don’t let it over dry which means make sure its hydrated with oil and don’t leave it in front of a heater because it will dry it out and start to crack over time
