Overall, this is a very nice, high quality ironing board.

I don't think you can have a sturdy light ironing board so i am perfectly happy to put up with the weight of the unit.

It has a quality location for the iron to sit while you work, to prevent it from falling over.

I was hesitant to buy this ironing board due to the price.

    This was a replacement ironing board for one that lasted 5 years before a weld broke

    Also because of the way the legs are on this model it doesnt fit on my ironing board hanger on the back of my pantry door

    There isnt much pad on it to speak of so i did put a new pad on top of the one that comes with it because the one included is extremely thin
