Pros

The manufacturer warranty seems to infer that this chair will last a while compared to cheaper models. The seat cushion is very wide at 23 and is 20 deep so larger people should be happy with the extra space.

The seat is adjustable for height, width and'scoot' the armrests can be adjusted laterally to move either closer or further away from you. The features of the chair make it easy to adjust to your personal preference.

straight forward and easy. Set the piston into the base and set the chain on the piston. Attach casters to the base using the three supplied bolts and allen wrench. The only option that i find lacking is the ability to lock the casters.

The mesh back is very soft and sturdy. Over time as the foam becomes less stiff the level of comfort will continue to go up. It feels sturdy, but i cannot yet speak to its durability.

The video of the chair makes it appear that the seat tilts with the back, but the back tilts on its own. This isn't a deal breaker, but reclining won't bring your knees higher, which i prefer.

This thing is solid, sturdy, comfortable, and—as far as i can tell one month in—pretty durable!

I also appreciate the smooth-rolling casters and the sturdy build quality.

Needs improvement: no backwards tilt adjustment and the arm rests feel very flimsy.

The only features it doesn't have is 3d arm rests.

Price

After going for cheap chairs all my life, i finally found it in my budget to afford a higher tier option.

Awesome and affordable office chair for long term use.

Overall this feels like more of a $250 chair than a $400 chair.

And the chair is too big and bulky for return, it would cost a fortune.

Contacted hon and they quickly sent the correct part.

I wish office chairs were shipped fully assembled so that they could be more easily returned.

Competitiveness

This chair is far more comfortable and more adjustable than other chairs i've had in the same price range.

I realized this when comparing the chair i had to the stock pictures and the instructions and realizing they didn't match.

The manufacturer warranty seems to infer that this chair will last a while compared to cheaper models.

I've used herman miller for work before and i found this to be a way better deal.
