I like firm chairs and do not care too much for the recline features so i have it in the upright position which provides adequate back support although there is no formal lumbar adjustment

About any time i adjust my position in the chair especially recline it produces a loud popping noise

However by far the worst issues is with the recline function and the lack of tension adjustment

If you watch the videos on the hon website you will see that they claim the users weight acts a counterbalance to the recline
