Pros
The remote is essential, and all of the settings are nice. Best thing is the mobility. The only part that's a little annoying is the water gauge.
This fan does a better job of cooling a room than a full air conditioner. It's less expensive than a portable ac and uses less electricity.
A swamp cooler is a great way to keep cool in the desert. It works great for rv rooms and in the heat of the summer. It can also be used to cool off the inside of a house. It comes with two swampcools.
Using for our small mountain cabin at a high elevation with low humidity. Nighttime lows usually in mid 50’s. I am in southern california where it is less humid.
Cons
It doesn’t cool like a refrigerated air conditioner, it just makes it “feel” cooler. Then it stops rotating and acts like a fan stuck in one spot. I live in michigan which is the humid midwest and this product is not satisfying.
It makes an annoying loud bubbling gurgling sound for hours on end. It sounds like a mini * wonka chocolate factory in the unit. No way a light sleeper could use this at night.

I am very pleased with this product.
I like to run it to help with the dry air so i use it as a humidifier.
This product was ok, not what i expected, thought it would be cooler, if your looking for really cold air don’t buy this product.
As for the cooling setting, it absolutely works as long as you're using the product correctly.
Packaging/appearance
Allows me to keep the main floor at a higher temp, and i can use the evap cooler to cool down the bedroom.

Its obviously not going to be as good at cooling down a room as a portable ac is but its also not intended to be and shouldnt be expected to either

The cooler works best in an environment with free airflow such as a room where the door is usually left open but you will still absolutely notice the cooling effects if the room is closed off it simply wont function at its maximum capability

The instructions are pretty straight forward and there were no difficulties at all it took like 5 minutes to get it unboxed and working

Other small details the romote works fine but nothing super special the cooler itself is surprising light make sure you read the maintenance care guide that comes with it

Understand that if you live in a humid and warmer climate you might not get the results you’re looking for

You just have to keep clicking the remote to get all three bars versus just the third one
