Pros

This is the only outdoor sensor like this. Works perfectly for an outside gate sensor. My shed is approximately 40 feet from the house and it works perfect.

This works prefect for shed doors. Used on outside lanai on doors to outside.

The larger unit includes a tamper feature in case someone attempts to rip it off. It's also nice for security, getting that chime or push notification if someone is on the property when no one is supposed to be.

Cons

I find it crazy that an alarm they sell for alarm systems has such a terrible warranty and clearly lack of interest in following up on the warranty. Don't waste your money on this. I hope the seller responds and lets me know how i can get replacements... Read More

Competitiveness

I use this with a 2gig alarm panel and monitor an outdoor gate.

I have a 2gig system and as far as i know this is the only outdoor sensor like this.

I've switched to honeywell and stand with their products.

I was a bit intimidated at first because it isn't a 2gig product, and therefore, i thought it was going to be complex in order to pair.
