Pros & Cons
Pros
Perfect part - exactly as advertised. Worked perfectly. They can be a fair distance apart and still register. This is useful if your switch isn't aligned perfectly or if you have a larger gap than normal.
This sensor is perfectly compatible. Snipped the old sensor off and spliced in the new sensor.
Not to worry. Shipped promptly. Quick shipping, works just fine.
Cons
Too strong. Went bad within two months. Pulled it out, no longer working.
Highlights
Quality
Easy to install using in home automation works flawlessly.
Decent quality and one of those things you never think about once it's installed.
We had to replace an exterior door anyway and the previous sensor was in pretty bad shape and cracked after 20 something years.
Taking down the old door destroyed half of the contact switch.
Price
This was a great and inexpensive fix.
Good inexpensive match for my existing alarm system and a fraction of the price from the alarm company
And it cost me less than ten dollars.
The security company wanted $125 for this part!
Shipping
It arrived on time and installing was easy.
Fast delivery and exact replacement for a older honeywell security system.
Competitiveness
I saw cheaper similar products, but i didn’t recognize the name of the suppliers.
