To menny working parts. It is not the best on the market. I have installed over 8 heating floor this is not a good one.

Works welleasy install, compatible with all thermostats i've usedso far so good, a dozen or so installed starting in 2012
Bought sensor as a back-up for the heated tile unit i was installing,seems to work fine
Heated floors turn on and off with this doodat
The system works well and i bought this on the suggestion of a friend to have a back-up in case one sensor stopped working.

Good piece of mind for a few dollars.
Wanted an extra in case my original fails, hard to beat the cost
Could have bought two of these for less on amazon.
Inexpensive insurance when installing in floor heating.

Our supplier said he could not get them from honeywell because they were no longer manufactured so was delighted to find them on amazon

The thermistor will push down between the plastic knobs on the ditraheat and dabs of hotmelt glue will hold the wire and thermistor in place while your scratch coat or tile is being placed

Ive never had one fail but its cheap insurance instead of having to break up your beautiful tiled floor

Two cant see the wire in the photo but its embedded in the self leveler under the tile

I bought two of these one that is uninstalled at the thermostat level but its sensor in the mortar bed

Should the current one fail at some point i would disconnect the lead and connect the standby sensor
