The built in thermostat keeps temp with 2*~3* over the entire room. Temperature guage setting with numbers in invrements of one degree (f) comes with a timer on it (1, 2, 4, 8 hours)- works.

It has 180 degree and 360 degree (not fahrenheit) circular heating that is changed by a lever on the back that closes the vent on top for 180.

Makes it super easy to turn on/off and adjust settings. Not having to get out of bed to turn the heater on or off is very convenient.

The heat is consistent and it doesn't blow fuses either! I like that you can set the temperature and that if it should get knocked over it shuts itself off!

The controls are very straightforward. In that respect it does very well. The honeywell surround heat does an excellent job.

Honeywell heater still works as a heater, but it is overpriced and is really annoying to use. It defaults to hi heat and in order to change it to low you have to press the button 5 times. After 3 months of use the thermostat doesn't work.

This is a nicely designed product, but you'll only feel the heat from about a foot away. It produces heat at some appreciable level, but surely fails to be a whole room heater. Bought a lasko 6462 full circle ceramic heater with remote instead.
