Pros

I honestly wasn't sure how well this was going to work. It sounds louder in the video, but it’s quiet! It is noisy, but i don't think you can find an air conditioner that isn't.

This portable ac works great. When room temp reaches the setting, the unit powers down to low fan and kicks back on when temp goes back up. Aside from some simple positioning tricks, there have been no problems.

Our windows have a 1/2 deep groove the window drops into when closed. Easy to install with either vertical or horizontal window opening. Unit is reasonably easy to install although larger than expected and the hose/window hookup a bit awkward.

Cons

The hose is way too short and you are told not to replace it. It splits and cracks along the corrugations and no amount of duct tape will hold it together.

Even with proper draining and cleaning, the unit is very loud when running. The brightness level is totally unnecessary for functionality, so i have no idea why they designed it like this. They smell like a swamp.

We have an old home with metal face plates on the outlets and the face plate was extremely hot, almost too hot to touch - this is bad.

Was little more expensive but worth it completely

For the price it works well and beats the $7000 mini split quote we had.
