Pros

Love this thermostat. My home air conditioner is an older unit without all the bells and whistles. Thank you honeywell.

Cons

The thermo works just fine and is simple, but it's off by six degrees. Thermostat is not accurate (off by four degrees in ac mode, heat mode not tested). Thermometers are not accurate. When using a laser temp unit there is a 2-3 difference.

No good. Not about to try to repack. Really annoying.

The unit is defective. The manufacturer is off shore. It is a defective redesign of what was once the most reliable device.

This thermostat clicks every time it kicks on or off, when set to auto. This review is not about the honeywell round thermostat; it's about amazon and its merchant network peddling returned, used, and defective merchandise.

The one i bought is very unreliable. Sometimes turning it back down all the way then back up again works, sometimes it doesn't. This one is such a piece of junk that i almost threw it away.

I bought the thermostat at a big orange box store and paid about $7 more than amazon's price.

It is cheap and it does work as expected.
