Pros

Straight forward install. Pretty much as advertised. Easy installation due to the provided instructions and video on youtube.

Since i don't have a floor drain near the furnace, i plumbed the humidifier drain to my condensate pump. Works great for whole house humidity. Bought a humidity meter to see how well it works.

Cons

Did not give out enough humidity. Take the valve off. Worked for maybe 2 days and now useless.

This is a good unit, good price, easy to install, and works fine.

I ended up buying it at home depot, because i wanted it that day, but the amazon/sylvane price is about $30 lower, not including shipping.

Like half the cost of a whole new unit.

Also rather than use the thin paper template i used a piece of cardboard packing that was cut to fit the humidifier for shipping purposes.

It does seem to waste a lot of water through the unit and into the drain.
