This is the third one i have purchased, 1 upstairs, 1 downstairs and 1 for the motorhome. The air flow also feels more evenly dispersed.

It's in the garbage now, where it belongs. Go with a traditional hepa unit, not hepa type, nor hepa like. Dropped off at goodwill.

There was no new unit smell with my other one. Disassembling and cleaning the filter / inspecting the bits didn't do anything to stop that odor. I find he coughs and sneezes whenever this is on.

The machine does rotate or you can push a button to not rotate .
