In our search to replace our old useless a/c, we decided that even though the honeywell price was not originally what we would like to spend on an a/c unit, we upped out budget significantly since this one was rated very highly on wirecutter at the time (if we are going to spend money, we wanted it to be reliable and around for the long haul).  Read Less
