The title says it all, well made and easy to install and use.

Between "delayed" a/c executions and inconsistent temperature management, nest lost me, and it was time to try something new.

So you would have a max current draw if the heat pump couldn't keep up or failed.

Price

Such a great value for what you get.

Plus we got $100 rebate from our power company.

Not a big deal, but make sure the review you are reading is for the device you are considering.

The best alternative i researched was the honeywell 9600 sold through amazon.

It is also less expensive than the nest learning thermostat.

Sadly, the nest is no longer an option so the honeywell is the next best choice.
