Here are the reasons i think the honeywell falls woefully short of the ecobee. It looks sleek and nice compared to an older model of honeywell but i hate it.

After registration and configuration setup, the thermostat constantly looses connection to my wifi. No wall plate, my wall still looks ugly and unpainted (my fault not theirs) my 5ghz router will not connect with this thermostats.
If the setpoint is 68 and the system is idle, the temperature shows 68 degrees. My heat bill tripled in the 2 months i’ve had this thing. The app is the worst and i really wish i had went with a different thermostat.

Due to the way the t6 was installed in contractor mode, i could not get them to connect to the resideo app.

After setting the desired temperature on the thermostat you have the option to prioritize based on occupancy or averagegt occupancy priority location of the thermostat takes precedence unless the room sensor detects activity and determines occupancy in that room
