Pros
We have no qualms that it won't disappear in a similar way in our bedroom. Came in very handy in the heatwave. I am very pleased with this, as is the dogs who i have to fight for it at night.
It is easy and intuitive to set up - you have to put together and attach the base, and that's it. The membrane type control panel on top is intuitive to use. The only thing is the latest one did not come with the screws toattach the base.
It's three speeds offer a decent throughput of air on each setting. It's value is debatable, however it moves air well, has a small footprint and is not too noisy on full power. Powerful enough to create a cooling breeze and suits a medium-sized room.... Read More
What also lends this fan to bedroom use is that it has a 1-8 hour auto shut off timer. Handy timer too.
Cons
Had to return as inky 2 of three screws could be fitted. Base rocky as a result so unsafe.

Again in their defence, the button quality has no impact on the air flow.

There is no remote control not in the sense of a separate device you can control it at a distance with anyway such as you have for a tv etc

If for some reason the normal style of cooling fan offends you i can see storage as an issue i guess then theres another style of fan weird venturi types exempt from this conversation the vertical fan

Its mode of operation is very simple it just has blades inside stacked vertically
