Although perhaps thats because the air closer to the heater will inevitably be warmer than the rest of the room so it might be a device to ensure the rest of the room is the temperature you want

There are only two heat settings 1800w and 1100w

Oscillating motion is quite slow and can be turned off

There is also a proximity sensor which flashes and then switches off the heater if something or someone is too close

The high tech controls consist of a rotary thermostat dial to set the required temperature which briefly displays on the led screen

There is no cool fan setting with this heater so thats a small disappointment
