If the motor still works and your gear is stripped you can flip the stripped gear around to the other side and hopefully get a few more years of service out of your old actuator
Its a much better damper than its predecessor m847d1004 perfect replacement for the old style damper motor these work so much better than the old metal ones where you had no clue as to whether they were working or not
Also this comes with extra unnecessary hardware so dont worry about some of the pointless screws in the box
