Cons

Easy to install and worked well for 2+ years, then starting sticking. That's crazy since an hvac visit will cost much more than the device. Honeywell/resideo requires that all warranty claims be initiated by the vendor.

The build quality is excellent, and i have confidence that it will last for years without any issues.

It is a very good and improved replacement to the old version with simple instructions and easy installation.

The old actuator failed because of the vinyl gear got totally worn down --- it is a shame the gear cannot be replaced.

They last about two years then seem to get intermittently stuck closed.

This damper motor replaced the older type honeywell motor.

I replaced the earlier version of this damper control unit with this newer version; same model number.

On top of that, this is the valve for your dollar; as i looked at multiple websites and amazon had the best price.

These damper actuators are expensive but much less than our ac repair company wanted to charge with installation.
