Pros

Cools my upstairs in my very old house so much better than anticipated! Cools our living room, dining room and makes the kitchen comfortable. It cools our bedroom and it is a good size room.

This portable ac is wonderful. Absolutely incredible and worth the extra dollars for a refined unit. It's primary purpose is to keep a home office with a lot of computer gear (and raid arrays) at a human comfortable temperature.

The machine does what it says on the tin. A fifth brand's model is rated 4 out of 10 for owner satisfaction. This review will be updated again after the new unit is received and tested.

Cons

The unit turns on but does not cool and does not dehumidify. It takes over 4 hrs to cool the temp to 75. A tray of ice cubes and a fan blows colder air than this junk.

Machine itself is skookum as frig, but the honeywell idea of “shipping quality” packaging is.

Make sure that you tick the box for amazon packaging to go over the product packaging.
