Pros & Cons
Pros
As an evaporative cooler, it works best when humidity is lower than 60%. It is easier to pour in than a pitcher. Adds some nice moisture in dry environment.
Unit works as specified. Works but keep expectations in check. When it’s focused on one person, it does well.
Cons
One positive is that it is easy to setup. We're stuck with a pretty expensive hunk of junk. Does not work.
It adds some cooler air but barely any. If it's main purpose is to add humidity to the air then i guess it does that. Whenever put cool function on it leaks out all over floor 1/3 water holding.
The fan blows out of a tiny sliver of the front barely 2 inches wide. It's basically a humidifier/fan combo and that's about it. Machine is also very loud, which i suppose it has to be to blow as much air around.
Highlights
Quality
Has a 8+ gallon water tank and uses about a gallon per hour and it's easy to refill.
I bought two large ones and one small one and they are amazing!
You have to add cold water and ice cubes to get cool air.
