The hcm-630 is small, compact, and looks good. It has a detachable tank for water filling which is convenient. My only complaint is that its curved top does not allow it to sit in the sink when i fill it.

The filters need replacing somewhat frequently, but so have the filters for all other machines i've used. It never never leaks - a problem i've had with many humidifiers. If they run out of water who cares, the large filter acts as an air filter!

Cons

Would recommend this product to coordinated people only. Our kids are in an average-sized room, not that large, and the water didn't last all night. Either i have a defect or they no longer make it like they used to.

While stylistically nicer, this units functionality is a real step down from previous generations of their humidifiers. The humidifier is too weak for even a reasonable room. I will never buy another honeywell humidifier ever again.

Also not as quiet as advertised. It is very noisy even on low fan speed. Why underneath the power fan unit of course.

This was ordered for my brother and he says it works very well--he is satisfied with the product.

I decided to get the second honeywell unit and i was very happy with the quietness and high moisture output during the winter months.

So i tried a different brand and was very disappointed with the noise level and the low moisture output.

Love it, it is working great with the tucson humidly of 11%.
