Pros

We have three heating zone (one a/c zone) in our home and wanted to replace all three 13 year old lux thermostats. It maintains the programmed temp extremely well. Price is great.

Cons

This thermostat will not fire up the furnace in the morning. Although they claim that it is wifi enabled, it gives you one of four errors every time. The faceplate is very difficult to remove when you have to change the batteries.

This thermostat calls for auxiliary heat within 1 degree of the set point when the heat pump has only been on for less that two minutes. The room temp is off by three degrees. Hasn't been warm enough to try the cooling function.

The brochure is useless in explaining how to install the wires - just says install them. Attaching the red, which also has a jumper, is impossible. In addition the screw to tighten the wires are so small that i had to go out and buy a special screwdri... Read More
