Pros

The programming options are plentiful but whats great is you can configure this thing to hide away all the complicated settings you dont need. Works great, got to rtfm and set it up. Requires reprogramming to use with a heat pump.

Cons

I think that they are needlessly complicated, and open up your home to malicious actors. It is still under warranty. This model is a “pro” series so the agent told me that i should not have been allowed to by it since i’m not a contractor.

It is not intuitive at all - very confusing and cryptic. The directions are useless. I am well aware on how to operate this product and have watched the youtube videos put out by the manufacturer and distributors.

No prob- just reinstall and re-add the thermostat. Warranty is void if a homeowner installs either of the t6 thermostats themselves.

If it is 69 degrees inside the thermostat display reads 71. For people who need/want cooler and for whom the programming is important to save money, it's completely unacceptable. Thankfully they have a permanent hold button so we are at 72 degrees at ... Read More
