Allows you to install a sensor in a room that you want to monitor, but not have the room temperature be part of the active rooms average.

The remote sensor works ver well - especially if main stat cannot be placed in a good location. I really wish other smart thermostat companies would get with the program and support fresh air dampers or erv systems.

The temperature probes use 2 easily replaceable aaa batteries, and are easy to set up. Honeywell works with hard-wired external temp sensor already on system.

Cons

Tried contacting honeywell, but there is no support to speak of. Multiple calls to tech support with waits as long as 20 minuets. Buy a nest instead or be ready to spend hours troubleshooting and talking to customer service.

Honeywell warranty is only good if you are a hvac technician. This t10 is the first model that i had to return - twice. Another excuse they will give you is this is a pro model and can only be installed by licensed contractors.

Once the bedroom doors are closed, the thermostat is “isolated” and is doesn’t measure the bedroom temperature.

Good value for the cost & i anticipate some savings on unit run times over the long haul.

I'm sure they will upgrade what they are shipping soon, otherwise they will have lots of unsatisfied customers soon.

They were both delivered on the same day.

Came with two wall mount brackets (one wide, one narrow).

Competitiveness

Fix: i finally got on the phone with tech support, which was a much better experience than i expected from a big company.

Time will tell, but if this thing continues to work, it's fantastic, and hands down, better than ecobee's latest 2022 premium, imo.
