Pros

The thermostat is very accurate and does not overshoot to maintain temperature. It responds to temperature changes within seconds. Very easy to install.

This one also handles my 3400 watt load effectively. Going to save me money heating the cabin. There is a sliding on/off switch which is nice.

The updated look is far superior to the old standby rotary knob style. They are elegant in appearance. They seem to be above average in quality.

Cons

The room temp reading is always higher than actual temp, even when the heat is not on. When the heaters turn on, the flow of electricity causes the unit to heat up unpredictably. A 40% defect rate is too high to be able to recommend the unit.

No one ever picks up even if you call back during their suggested times. That is unconscionable. Waste of time and not worth the return postage.

This is a great thermostate for the price.

Solved my heating problem and reasonable price

This is nice enough thermostat but you can get the 7-day programmable one for $5 more.

It's a great and cheap option to just buy this unit and pop the new face onto the existing (same model thermostat) unit.
