Pros
The new model uses a single button for speed control, and another button for oscillation. The oscillating feature is great and should be used as it * in more dust that way.
The filters are washable, the noise level is not bad. There is an indicator light that lets you know when to wash the washable filters or replace the hepa filter. The filter is reuseable.

If this is what buying in mint condition used means, i'll pass. I don't buy mint condition.

It has worked very well to get rid of the smoke smell from the forest fires
I have it plug for 2 and half week and it still smile like burning plastic.
After rinsing it, shake it & blow dry the water out.

00 less than what i paid at the time of purchase.
This unit will save us a lot of money and trouble because the filters are washable.
Home depot has them for under $200
Mid- price range makes it a good purchase.
Shipping
I ran at full speed with the pre-filter and found i got used to the new smell pretty quickly.
I was very disappointed , the very same day that i received this item an add on amazon came on with this item advertised at $50.
Packaging/appearance
The product was well packed and ready to use.
The box had been previously opened and we found that there was no manual in the box.
The hepa filter that came in a separate package is not washable, i have not used mine yet.
Competitiveness
Honeywell brand had served us well with their other products.
I purchased this to replace a very old but similar model that had non-washable filters.

On sunday mornings the fumes from the 34bakery34 can overpower the air purifier but within minutes after the noxious oven shuts down and the neighbour leaves to sell her goods at her church the histamine response phlegm at back of throat stops and im breathing clean smelling air again

It took no time at all to get used to the ozone smell from the ionizer but i did do some online research and learned that the machine produces well below harmful amounts
