Pros

Honeywell hpa300 air purifier works really great. It does a great job of removing dust, pet dander, and odors from the space. The carbon pre-filter is primarily for odor removal, and that is not an issue for me.

Bought april 19, 2020. Now august 12, 2023. Reordering hepa replacements today. Great value and ease of use. First one still works very well after about 5 years (that should be a big clue).

Covid 19 is an air purifier with a built-in vacuum. Owner has a cat and a doberman. Even the cat sneezes less.

Cons

The only one the semi works is the turbo button. Plastic is of low quality and when i tried selecting the turbo fan level it took several presses for the purifier to switch to turbo mode.

The quiet air purifier is not quiet. The room is 100 sq ft and says it is good up to a room 150 sq ft. Over time this unit will get too noisy to use if you're in the same room.

Strong burning smell as soon as i plugged it in. Waited a few minutes, still smelled. Whole room smells unpleasant so i have to return it.

In fact the blower had been dislocated from its support, and while precariously running for a short time ended up inoperable.

It was a great buy even for the price.

Cost of filters adds up after a while.

I rapidly received a customer service agent and will be sending the unit back to them for replacement.
