After completing all the work and testing out everything was configured how i wanted i shopped around for companies as the other gotcha was that if you wanted to turn the system onoff while away from home you would need to purchase the service that allows you to use the iphoneandroid app named totalconnect2

Cool thing is that its no contract as well so if i go out of town i can update my plan to have a notification sent to the local police department or have them call me in the event of a breach

I just know that if anyone else is like me i do a lot of reading before settling on an item and a lot of times its the comments that explain some questions that the description didnt answer that ultimately results in me purchasing the item

Overall despite the difficulty of the installation i gave it 5 stars because thats my inexperience rather than the fault of the description or product

The only draw back is you have to use honeywell cameras which are over priced and not that great in quality
