I believe the likes of british gas use this brand not only that there are so many fake and cheap ones on the market it really isnt worth the risk of buying some cheap junk from china

It has a 10 year life and 10 year warranty so split the cost you paid i paid £29

It flashes the word evacuate in red and very bright on testing and the alarm is plenty loud enough to hear i assume the flashing could also be useful if a person is deaf

It did knock my confidence in the product to begin with but reality is no matter how much one spends theres always going to be a few that may have dodgy a battery sensor or something of that nature
