Pros & Cons
Pros
The ultrapro switches are designed/manufactured by jasco. These are essentially ge switches with ultra pro boxes. They work the same as ge and are made by jas co who also makes the ge enbrighten switches.
The switch was packaged well in an environment friendly box. It makes the installation that much easier. The one caveat is that the dimensions of the unit itself will fit easily in a modern box, but will be a tight fit in the smaller boxes used in hom... Read More
Lighting controls are my latest addition. I personally like the lighted toggle and have found it’s a role of the dice with these ultra pros. as long as you've got plenty of room, these are great units.
Cons
The logic in the switch has to wait for a second after then first click to see if there is a follow up before it actuates the relay. Paddle-type switches are available but it is hard to see the position of the paddle from across the room. If you want ... Read More
Highlights
Quality
These are well built and work flawless.
Works great, make sure you have neutral wiring before ordering and understand how to wire it or get an electrician to do it.
It worked great for about 13 months and then the switch stopped working.
The connectors on these switches are made for solid core wire - or wire with tinned ends.
Price
Easy and ge product same price as any other i think it is great
All of the add-ons from adt are ridiculously priced.
I bought this on sale on prime day.
At $10 less per switch i will be getting these exclusively now.
Shipping
Contacted customer support and after confirming my order they sent me a new replacement switch which i had 5 days later.
Packaging/appearance
In my case, the switch box was packed full of wires and wire nuts.
It came in very simple box without much instruction of pairing to samsung thesmartthings.
The good:the switch was packaged well in an environment friendly box.
The size of switch was also significantly smaller which made it fit well inside the box.
Competitiveness
The switches are more reliable than similar models from ge and other brands, and the toggle design provides a classic look that... Read More
Works well with smartthings, super simple to install if you read the directions and are just as high quality as the ge brand if not better.
There is no discernable difference between the ge enbrighten branded product or the honeywell branded product of the same configuration.
Wasn't familiar with the ultrapro brand before buying these, but can't say i see any difference.
