So, spent the bucks and bought hoosier hill farm.
An amazon search shows me 12 packets of ranch seasoning is $247 dollars or so.
Handy to have in the cupboard and less expensive in the long run than buying fresh buttermilk.

Arrived on time, and i am happy with the product.
What is remarkable is that one can locate is easily on amazon and have it delivered to my door.

I just made ziplock packs of mix, so that all you needed to do was add water, and voila delicious pancakes.
Just what i needed to complete my pancake mix gift jars for christmas gifts.

Once in a while i do recipes that require buttermilk but always end up tossing out at least half of the package after cooking because no matter what it always spoils before i’m ready to use it again
