This is now the only thickener recommend for çanning. Great for canning fruit for pie filling. Used it for cans of apple pie filing. Peach pie mix. Good for salad dressings, creams and shakes.
Cons
Amazon says i can't return it. And, of course, they refuse to take their worthless product back!
It always comes out runny. Ordered cook type clear jel and received the instant variety not suitable for canning. There could be cross contamination.
