Highlights
Quality
We appreciate the quality, will definitely order again.
Very cost-effective, and of a good quality for chinese black bean dishes.
If you ever had marmite or vegemite, it has a similar tang and salty quality just not as salty.
Price
But the price for the 1 1/2 pounds is very reasonable.
Packaging/appearance
I take about 3 to 4 just out of the jar and chew them with a cracker!
Competitiveness
A beautiful, well-made product that keeps well.
For my gluten-free black bean paste, simply soak two cups of these for at least a couple of hours, drain them, then mash them with a fork.

Its a huge amount of fermented black beans for chinese dishes that costs per recipe a tiny fraction of what they do in the supermarket
